Agent Readiness

Repos Table

How do we see each repository's Readiness Level and Next milestone check in the Agent Readiness tab?

Repositories' readiness levels for autonomous AI coding agents, showing status and next steps.

What it shows

The Repos table shows each repository's individual Readiness Level (1-5) and the specific next milestone check it needs to pass to advance to the next level. This per-repo view makes the org-wide Readiness Level average specific, rather than treating the whole codebase as a single unit, it shows which repos are genuinely ready for autonomous agent deployment today and which require infrastructure investment before agents can safely operate in them.

Why it matters

Repository-level readiness is the operational deployment decision. An org at Level 2.8 overall might have three repos at Level 4 (ready for autonomous agents) and twelve repos at Level 1 (not ready for anything beyond assisted coding). The strategic decision, where to deploy autonomous agents first, how to sequence infrastructure investment, and which repos to hold back from autonomous operation, requires the per-repo breakdown, not the org average. This is the table CTOs use to brief engineering teams on where autonomous agent deployment is approved and where it isn't yet.

The Larridin angle

The "next milestone check" column for each repo converts the readiness assessment into a specific, assigned action item, each repo knows exactly what it needs to achieve to advance to the next level, without requiring a manual gap analysis or external assessment. That specificity makes the readiness roadmap assignable and trackable within the same sprint planning process engineering teams already use.

Common questions

What does the Readiness Level indicate in the Repos Table?

The Readiness Level indicates how prepared a repository is for autonomous AI coding agent deployment, ranging from 1 (not ready) to 5 (fully ready).

Why is the per-repo breakdown important for the C-suite?

The per-repo breakdown is crucial for making strategic decisions about where to deploy autonomous agents and where to invest in infrastructure, as it provides detailed readiness information beyond the org-wide average.

How does the 'next milestone check' help engineering teams?

The 'next milestone check' provides specific action items for each repository to advance its readiness level, integrating seamlessly into existing sprint planning processes.

What is the significance of a repository being at Level 4?

A repository at Level 4 is considered ready for autonomous AI coding agent deployment, indicating it has met the necessary infrastructure and readiness criteria.
