Intelligent CxO Cites Larridin/CMU Study on AI Results Impact

Written by Floyd Smith | Sep 24, 2026

Online magazine IntelligentCxO features extensive coverage of recent Larridin/CMU research. The story shares key findings from the study, Do AI Adoption Signals Predict Company Performance?, conducted as a collaboration between Larridin and researchers at Carnegie Mellon University.

The study used analysis of public company 10-K filings (the audited annual report US public companies file with the SEC) to identify a key link: companies providing the most specific AI disclosures in their filings achieved an 8% advantage in revenue growth compared with those that provided the least detail.

Larridin CTO and Co-Founder Ameya Kanitkar is quoted: “Generalised AI investment alone tells us little about a company’s ability to create value,” said Ameya Kanitkar, Co-founder and CTO of Larridin. “What matters is identifying where AI is being deployed, measuring adoption and workforce proficiency, understanding how customers and employees are benefitting and connecting those efforts to quantifiable business results.”
